Powerboat Refresher
The course is aimed at Powerboat Level 2 licence holders or ICC holders. It is ideal for those who have already achieved the qualification and may have not had as much time on the water as they hoped for, and want to ensure their skills are up to scratch. This refresher course is taken onboard our Novurania 650 which has a 220 HP Inboard Diesel Engine.

Pre-Course Requirements
As this course is designed as a refresher course, participants must hold their Powerboat Level 2 License or ICC.
Course Syllabus
Items covered during the refresher session include, but are not limited to the following:
• Use of the kill cord
• Anchoring,
• Weather forecasts
• Engine checks
• Boat handling and refamiliarization
• Coming alongside
• Planing speed control
• Picking up mooring bouys
• Berthing
• Emergency action
The first three points are conducted in the classroom.

We intend to run these sessions every month, so you will always have the opportunity to keep your skills current.
